Description: A Business Manager plays a crucial role in driving the rapid growth of a business. They use a variety of strategies, often digital and product-oriented, to increase a company's market presence and profits. The Business Manager function typically lives at the intersection of marketing and product development and focuses on customer and user acquisition, activation, retention, and upsell. The Business Manager will report to the Managing Director/Executive Manager and will work cross-functionally with engineering, design, analytics, product management, operations, and marketing to design and execute growth initiatives.

Responsibilities:

• Develop a deep understanding of customer behaviour and needs.
• Develop, execute, and manage growth strategies to drive user acquisition, retention, and revenue growth.
• Identify and analyse key metrics to evaluate and validate growth initiatives.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Marketing, Engineering, Cloud, Quality Assurance) to implement growth initiatives.
• Using A/B testing, product user data, and market research to inform growth strategies.
• Creating reports and presenting performance metrics to senior management.

Required:

• Have your own vehicle.
• Competence in Data Analysis
• Minimum of 5 years experience in a similar role
• Proven experience in growing sales in the business
• Proven experience in managing team of 50+ employees
• Previous experience in managing an IT Business or similar role

Ideal:

• SQL
• An MBA would be a plus
• SQL Server Management Studio
• Strong mathematical and statistical skills
• Experience with Power BI or similar technology-driven business intelligence tool
• BTech in Software Development, Computer Science qualification or equivalent qualification

Favourable:

• Foundational knowledge of Amazon Web Services
• Willing to be based in Nelson Mandela Bay and travel as and when required
